AmericInn was a pleasant surprise. In more of a rural setting on the outskirts of Cedar Rapids, it was just lovely. Classical music playing in a beautiful lobby and we were given a very friendly and informative reception. We took advantage of the pub for a beer, had a lovely soak the hot tub, and slept very well. This was our best stay on our 25-day road trip across the country. The price was more than reasonable (even for the beer!).

Breakfast was good, the eggs were a little dry but good. Kids loved the way they had to make there waffle. Had some difficulties sitting together though due to a baseball group that was there at the same time.

My son is always happy about waffles and hot tea. The facility was super clean and tidy. It was so pretty inside and out. I definitely look forward to my next stay here. We will definitely be back to this location and other locations in Iowa as well.

It’s a great hotel with the nicest staff, it’s always clean and comfortable and the room is always ready when I arrive. The pool is clean and warm.

Room was very nice. Hot water for shower. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Location was good, right off the highway, but not loud. Motorcycle motif was very tasteful. American Gothic print in room was a nice touch. Homey feeling decor, nice and clean overall. Highly recommend this motel

In every way you can think of this hotel exceeded my expectations. Is the room a spacious , The bed was comfortable, The amenities were outstanding in the breakfast with delicious. The staff was very helpful and accommodating

the pool was great. perfect temp. wish the hot tub worked. all staff very kind and pleasant except for one woman behind the desk. maybe having a bad morning.

comfortable and soundproof rooms. Friendly and compassionate host. There was a grieving family in the hotel and he guided us to a room on second floor to allow privacy for family.

it’s easy to get to, comfortable beds, rooms are so quiet and you never hear anyone in the halls, breakfast fast isn’t too bad, pool is clean and perfect temp.
